Snap Snap Project Holiday

the 4 usuals with willianto the indo kid & buddy.

what an example...the picture speaks for itself.

being told to do push-ups by the smiley instructors of tekong. they're in civilian clothes btw.

there are obviously 2 guys who are hanging onto dear life and couldn't stand the pain of hanging on any longer. and there i was absentmindedly counting slowly 1-2-3 to shoot the pic. should've shot at 1 so i'll be spared by the "eh lincah lah amik!!! tangan aku tengah sakit ni!!!" rambles...fresh blistered fingers in 3 seconds.

student by day, flower sniffer by late afternoon...

1 stop information counter. make that 3.

the milo & chipsmore addicts. nice way to end the day.

i can safely say my fren nasser wouldn't miss this for the world. whenever i hear the marilyns on the radio, i automatically think of that dude. somehow it relates back to an incident during 1 of the band's performances at esplanade 2 months ago. ampun bang ampun....the things people say and do to receive an empty cd case.

this, i hope i can make it for the 30th one...free admission kids. FREE. unleash your furry animal fury.
well, me & 4 other frenz have been working part time at a warehouse for the past 3 days. it's funny that they told us today that everything is done & there's nothing else to do. my fren, hafiz was so enthusiastic about the simple nature of the job upon hearing our feedback. thing is, he came only today and worked for 3 hours. by the time he came, things were almost done at the warehouse. now we're just waiting for our meagre pay and hafiz's 2 digit salary. now i know how vulnerable part time workers are.

19 Kids. 4 Hours. 16 Kilometres. The Kids Who Went Too Far.
such a mentally & physically draining day. the hike to macritchie's treetop walk isn't really something you wish to end quickly. the uphill slopes with rocky trails, the muddy surface, ascending neverending stairs, ultra hot weather, lizards and a group of monkeys along the way is what you're gonna encounter. girls of Xena warrior princess-like abilities are more than welcome to venture out here. once u reached the top, the view is breathless. just ignore some HDB flats seen from a distance or else u'll lose your imagination of being in some jungle in Malaysia. other than that, it's the best view of nature you'll ever get. on the way down, prepare for wobbly legs as the eternity of stairs await you.
all in all, it was fun. time well spent with the people who went through the high & lows of school together. looking forward to seeing them again before NS. Sentosa perhaps. we'll see...

some of the kidz before the journey. those missing in the pic are either taking a drag or buying nasi ayam at the foodcourt in school.

the semangat membara's. amazing race kapcai style.

the plaza kidz in full force.

turtles at the edge of the reservoir. very cute ones.

the legendary pakcik of the reservoir. keeps cool with his solar powered cap/fan. it really works i tell you. no kidding.

pit stop. we're actually resting at a hut only for golf course members. who cares.

group shot take 2.

the view. purposely not wanting to capture the HDB flats or else it'll spoil the feeling feeling nature mood.

looking down below.

guatanomo bay prisoners found at macritchie.

the kid behind looks like a malay version of Yao Ming. i'll suspect he tiptoed in this shot. how come so tall one...

the singlet boy flexes. the other 3 are waiting for their turns.

he is now rashid doraemon. i dunno what he keeps in his bag but it seems he has everything the kidz asked for. u name it, he has it. even black scotchtape. who brings tape????

seriously deadbeat. images of king koil mattresses and wanton noodles lingers.
that's all folks.

Last Of The Last
after 3 years, finally it's over yesterday. if i manage to pass the difficult paper yesterday, i'll be in school again on July 28th with a presumably botak head & i hope the kidz in school would turn up for that day. heh. looking back, it's been a fun life in school. next stage, serving the country for 2 years. after that, who knows wat i'll do...here are some last kopek pix of the groupies & the bowling anyhow shoot get-go.

upcoming tong-tong cheng 17-piece band. spread the love.

1 day only performance @ the red bridge by Nas. applause for the splendid work of art, the revolutionary mic mop.

the mystical guardian mermaid of the bridge suddenly appeared below Nas's pants. how strategic.

i hope he sends this pic to the civil defence. so he can get an early enlistment to that force. surely they'll be impressed. a climb up to the roof ain't easy .

for a headstart in life, position yourself further up.

group 1 even had a hindustani star & a klasik malay singer dropped by to bowl with em. such an honour.

the other game had 4 former singapore national players against 1 kedah defender. how things never change. kedah could still beat singapore. luckily Goal 2010 was suspended.

he who throws the bowling ball with his ilmu batin. the "campakan naga geram" or the "fury dragon throw". most of the balls end up in the longkang though.

steamboat, jimbo, hobo. behind us is T Ramoo.
well, can't wait to meet the whole bunch again next tuesday. kain pelekat galore.

Mohammad Sultan Road Afternoon Hike
the timberlux center flea market was okay for me yesterday. the blazing weather did not help a single bit. small venue, large crowds. i bought a tee yesterday and i was kinda bummed i couldn't buy much more. like nothing much caught my eye. same goes for mamat retro. i can safely say there were more gerlz stuff sold & oh yeah, gerlz haf such spectacular spending power. hoho. the IPod dj booth was kinda a kool thing. just random people coming up to the booth & play watever tunes they haf in their IPod for a certain time. some of the songs played at the venue were nice. if i had an IPod, i'd surely apply for the dj slot.
the highlight of yesterday was the trek from that timberlux center to suntec city just to check out Lacoste's storewide sale. along the way, mamat retro & i passed by mohammad sultan road for the 1st time. yes 1st time. so there were the clubs such as Madam Wong's, ThaWu Bar etc featured in Juice magazine we used to read about huh. so me and that mamat "club-hopped" at a hot & humid 3pm. where there were no beautiful people and the only music playing were the sound of cars speeding down the road wif their noisy engines.
well, Lacoste's sale was a bummer...sale or no sale, the prices were like 60 dead presidents & above. only if they had a student rate sale. if only. i've been aiming this purple/blue striped shirt for the longest time and after the discount, itz still not in my budget range. waiting for the end-of-year sale would seem redundant. by the time, i'll be a tanned, tired looking bald headed monk stepping into a Lacoste boutique and buying that shirt? hmm, a thought left to ponder. and when am i gonna wear it during NS days? definitely not during firing range exercises.
anyways, below are some pix of the kidz taken at random on last friday plus a pic of a makcik. have a nice day.

the holy matrimony of the nasi bungkus couple. very lovely couple and i really hope they go far in their relationship. also hoping too they won't ask us to bring our own nasi bungkus during their wedding dinner in the future.

sleep beside ur tutorial notes and it'll seep into ur brain. smart kid.

mus jimbo irritating the hell outta yassin. here he is seen peeking into yassin's tee. people get turned on in many different ways.

The Usuals.

this is makcik huda jonet. her berfdayz yesterday and she's oreadi a cranky ___ (think of any digit starting wif 2 followed by any number of ur liking). she who goes soft even of a mere mention of her policeman bf. being old doesn't really equate to being wiser. heh heh. happy berfday jonet. panjang umur dan murah rezeki iye.

out of kiasu-riosity, i checked out HMV for this DVD. it was released on March 29th in the States and fair enough, of course it isn't available here yet. only 1 thing that bugs me in the product details. it says
"Encoding: Region 1 (U.S. and Canada only. This DVD will probably NOT be viewable in other countries.)"
2 words. heart pain

Oh Yes...

it would really help if you have read the comic. from the trailer, it still stayed true to the dark storyline of the comic. will it be shown here?

Random

this guy impresses me. i asked him what was his next move after getting to know this girl and getting her number in the end yesterday. his reply was "oh i have a lot of moves..." simply charming. the key word in school now is "playa".

introducing grandpa koh samui. his half thai, half malay. very insane sense of humour. the resident rubber face dude. a self confessed punk rocker back in the day who used to wear studded jackets. now he grooves to reggae and dancey dancey beats. last week he sang a song by Rialto. a very unique lad nonetheless.

the name's Mus Jimbo. he who comes to school twice a week. calls up people frantically to sign his lecture attendance on behalf along the way. a nice guy beneath the paikia look. for someone like him, he has very neat handwriting and good table manners. i'm serious about the previous line. serious.

when guys are the last options...

yes yes...my tutorial lecturer who taught me back in year 2. we come to his classes and we're handed the topic's tutorial answers straightaway. he would release us right after that and would mark the full attendance for the class. that explains why he was nominated the best lecturer by the students for the past 2 years. every lecturer with that title would be awarded a rolex watch. that was what he told us back then.
