Single. the common self doubt arises when the mind starts pondering over that word. is it the harsh fact of not being interesting in the eyes of others or merely the decision he/she took to be that way. does age play a part in the process of finding that elusive soul whom you're bound to be with someday? is time running out? or who knows it's just based on the weak fact that people around you are happily attached. it may just be the curiousity of how it is to be with someone so dear to you. the thought of happiness you might go through with that someone could not be bought with all the money in the world. for it's only wise not to dive into a relationship just to clear that title. that could very well be the ultimate backfire. believe that in time to come, the patience you've withstood so far would bear fruit one day and finally that status would be erased with a smile.

When the routine bites hard
and ambitions are low
And the resentment rides high
but emotions won't grow
And we're changing our ways, taking different roads
Then love, love will tear us apart again

being a technician with office hour schedules is definitely a brightside. weekends are off days & it's nice coming home everyday spending time with the family. newly made friends over at the new camp are kool nonetheless. conversations vary from "where do you live?" to how S M Salim is similar to Jay-Z in a way. weird but true.

The Walking Trees, Finale And A Boy Called Wong

it's been a great time off since P.O.P day. hanging out again with the usual suspects and having a laugh over bandung drinks and tokiwado. will be resuming NS duties on the 19th and only god knows where we NSF kids will be posted to. powerpop weekend last saturday was a blast and now we know why it may be serenaide's last performance of the year. nvm, the hiatus will produce a happy outcome. best wishes to the mainman and the bassist. =)

so let's move on to the pics...

having to stand in that posture for 15 minutes is so draining. it's best to hum your favourite song to pass the time and irritate the person beside you.

it's nice to see the person who delivers the national day rally and national budget speech on teevee. although i don't watch it.

a set won't be complete without girl from katong. i think i've mentioned that a few times already. but it's a fact.

the celloist and a radiant madam mimi on bass.

well, somehow yesterday some of the tekong kids had a knack for the food back in school. being the loyalist of the klasik $2 nasi ayam stall, we did head down to school. met up with mus akhlaken, hafiz giant, zayed sengeh and ariff the balla while we were there.

slowly the posse gets smaller & smaller. that explains the frustration of the mamat beside me.

introducing lyte phunky wong. the only kid i know who eats chicken wings without a care in the world during gigs as if he was on a picnic day out. he still had time to smear chilli sauce on it and gorge away. oh well, a hungry soldier is an angry soldier.

3 months of sweat and having the Prime Minister as the guest-of-honour during the passing out parade at the end of the day was erm...an honour. kind of unfortunate the digicam's battery got weak and that explains the vaccuum of pictures in this entry. but nvm, all the memories are stored in my mind and it sure was an experience. maybe it is true, the army allows you to explore beyond your limits. sure, i myself couldn't believe i could complete the 24km route march in the end. that explains why boys have an extra topic to talk about when meeting up & that topic, uncannily is, National Service.

on another note, my click's very own closet hip-hopper mamat is finally getting the chance to enjoy weekly "5 star cruise" trips to an island just 10 minutes away from mainland singapore starting tomorrow. maybe we'll need to call him "abang body" when he ends his BMT. as long as he doesn't flex his muscles to show he's slowly resembling national bodybuilder Ibrahim Sihat, he'll be fine.
