welcoming in a new year succumbs to reflecting what you've done for the entire previous 365 days. be it a positive or negative aspect. flashbacks of those happy moments during the entire course of the year would feel like a shame to let go and those sad times that you just want to forget altogether. such endearing thoughts of the human mind revolves around the people around you who made you laugh, smile, cringe and cry which makes life more meaningful and interesting to live by. do believe in becoming a better person and don't let pessimistic thoughts engulf your soul. for there are better brighter days ahead for you & me and put up a brave front for the challenges ahead for the new year. do start the year ahead with a smile.

Fab Four & The Lonely Trolley
snapped by nasser
walking around town yesterday felt like being in bazaar geylang during the fasting month. where illegal peddlers sold their products for a quick buck and people walking around like penguins due to the constraint space. the moment of escapism came in the form of relaxing at a hidden cool spot with the kids and the discovery of a lonely trolley. our stint with the trolley was short lived due to the watchful eyes of the security guard just as we were about to film our own jackass video. but nevermind, we'll be back. with fingers crossed the trolley would still be there.

Pear Pisang
snaps of last week's bbq with the ayer rajah guys. the final time we got together before embarking on different routes as we're posted out to other units situated all over singapore. unfortunately some of the guys came around 1am and i just had to leave early just so i could wake up the next morning for a flea market. in other news, i'm now posted in a western area camp and work has been draining. never a day goes by without me being an orang minyak substitute. working with grease & oil is becoming so routine that the dirt, soot & what not stubbornly sticks to the fingernails. and no, going for a manicure is not an option.

The Linkage Entry
yesterday was full of drama mama action. weirdly, 2 girls were following our group for they wanted to be friends with 1 of the guys and it shortly became a cat & mouse game as we gave random whereabouts of ours and they had to find us. hilarious really. in the end, mael the rooster had to entertain those young girls over the phone about nonsensical topics like what's the average age of us all blah blah blah and for your info, it was not mael whom the girls wanted to know. but i guess the girls got carried away with mael's suave words that they both had a long conversation. such a turn of events.

Lime's Flea Market Visit
the flea market didn't really bother the wallets of the ayer rajah kids last week. in the end, we took pics of any christmas tree that we chanced upon.
