sometimes you don't feel old & foggy. the polling card sent to the crib does make you feel so. but oh well, it's a small price to pay compared to knowing the government pumped in a bit of love to the bank account. isn't it so kids of 84?

That Smile & The Song That Says It All

i'll bet the french watch their news religiously. reason being, you should know why. apart from that crazy kitten smile and cute eyes, here's a song that's worth being played to your future significant other. but do step back to reality that you can never ever be Thom Yorke on acoustics.

Once Upon A Time, We Looked Like This

The Long Time No See's
an impromptu meet up with the poly kids. in which, some whom i last met during last year's graduation day. the boys talked about national service & i've no idea what the girls were chatting about. everyone seems to be doing good these days & it's comforting to know we still spare some time from our lives to hang out and enjoy a simple meal together.

The Difference Between Mr Tan & Coralie Clement
there's a man in our workshop whose in charge of the toolstore back in camp. name, Mr Tan. he who is responsible for any tools loaned out or returned. if you're in need of any tools, just go to the toolstore & ask him. easy task? think again as you have to cope with his pronounciations. we kids end up laughing whenever the tools that we require isn't available. in layman terms, whenever something isn't available, we would sometimes say "don't have" or "didn't have". with this mr tan, it's a bit different.
techie: mr tan, borrow drill set can?
mr tan: aiyah you, ni hap lah.
techie: but why. i thought someone returned it already.
mr tan: you ah. i say ni hap, ni hap lah. if hap, i gip you already.
this is when the shoo-shoo-go-away hand gesture comes in place.

with this lady on the other hand, it's full blown smooth french lingo and chillout tunes in the background. no points for guessing who i'd rather talk to.

Middle Of Nowhere
after last saturday's dinner treat courtesy of our staff sergeant, four of us got stranded in the middle of punggol after the makan makan. in the attempt of our chief to reach home hastily somewhere around punggol, he dropped us from his aircon-less van to the nearest lrt station at the stroke of midnight. by the time, train services had ended and there we were standing in the middle of empty roads and victims of midnite charge taxis.

the oh so sweet couple smiling before gorging the sumptious spread.

the one we call kecik. being born in 86 christens that title.

the brightly lit empty punggol lrt & the latecomers

by mentioning empty roads, i really meant empty. zilch.
in other matters, have you ever wondered what if a friend of a friend of yours asks how exactly are you as a person, what would your friend say in return? would words of praise or negativities be spurted out from that friend of yours about you? so honey, just like the debut album of the arctic monkeys say, whatever people say i am, that's what i'm not.

Commando Cutie

he who would turn all tensed up & quiet when having his regular haircut from his father, my uncle. other than that, he's the regular noisy kid of his age whose into masked rider & yes, Hi-5. because of him, i'm exposed to the world of beyblade & losing to this kid does suck. he'll be entering primary one next year & how kids grow up so fast these days. it was just like yesterday i cradled him in my arms when he was just an infant.

Odd Snaps
finally, pictures retrieved from the jonet. blurred snaps of the KOC dudes but memories of the fascinating gig still linger in the minds of the other 5 kids who went along i'm sure. them playing a number in total darkness with such perfect vocals and complex guitar picking was pure magical. without a doubt, the best $32 spent on anything.

erlend & eirik with their utterly simple set.

the "student" priced ticket holders.

i owe her prata, soon to be driver, the one who misplaced her card reader.
