Awesome Wedding & The Guests From A Galaxy Far Far Away

the most unreal wedding ever attended. darth maul & stormtroopers are indeed wedding crashers. but nah, they weren't there to "get fresh" with the ladies. guarding the king & queen of the day were their mission. utterly fun wedding invite & the nasi minyak was yummy. and not forgetting the countless plates of custard puffs we hijacked.

the stormtrooper was a hit with the kids. some even fought over whose next in line to snap a pic with him. no worries, we didn't hustle our way through.

Wedding Crashers & The Empire Of Cats

the weekend was splendid. watching Cat Empire play live was euphoric and there's no way can anyone sit down when they played Chariot. where we you while we were getting sore throats from singing at the top of our lungs. and oh, the impromptu photoshoot on the way home turned out quite nicely.

loud & standing ovations are due for this band. marvellous live performance.

with no ulterior motives, we just took a pic against the wall.

sunday was jemputan-orang-kahwin-bawah-blok-hijack day. our very own Mr Smiley 24/7 eldest brother got hitched and we were all invited to the reception. where we helped to finish up the buffet spread.

actually we forgot to shoot a group pic with the newly weds. by the time we were done eating, they were off. so this new age couple would do.

The Memory Lapse

last saturday's wedding was an awkward situation. for the wedding was of my former primary schoolmate who until now, still remembers me. the thing is, i remembered having a schoolmate with that name but i can't recognize how she looked like back when we were 12 years old. there she was on the pelamin waving frantically & smiling upon the sight of some oversized spectacled dude & his parents. for my parents & hers are friends who chanced upon each other a few months ago & invited the familia to the wedding. all is well till we had a brief chat & mentioned the few names of our primary school friends and indeed, i remembered her, Farhana. 10 years on & people still remembering you is quite touching don't you think? i apologised on my part for not recalling her. as my primary school life doesn't quite involve girls. all that mattered was going home straight after school & waiting for the clock to strike 5pm to play soccer under the void deck.
