there it was, sitting comfortably in all it's glory. such a sight to behold. at the stroke of 6.58pm, the fingers zoomed in as fast as a cheetah. as it entered the gap, squirts of melted brown sugar gushed throughout the walls due to the pressure build up. the feeling, oh so orgasmic. with eyes closed, it felt like heaven on earth. get your mind out of the gutter kids. i'm referring to the majestic...
Ondeh-Ondeh
on a musical point of view, gratitude to Splint for the intro of this tune. how i wish i had been exposed to this way earlier. it's on repeat mode now.

The Accidental Tourist

the sombrero with the funky hat's gonna be terrorising the land of ghee tomorrow. for one month we will all be spared with his weird admiration for cherries and of course, the transfers of "recommended" music via MSN by him which evolves indie bands. (read: A1, Another Level, Backstreet Boys etc) hey, who knows with his vast knowledge of these bands, he might hook up with some hot hindustani aishwarya rai lookalike. music transcends everything and does bring people together ryte. hmm ryte?
but in all honesty, the entire period of brotherhood with this amigo can be best described with the photo below. one that simply says "woohoooooo!!!"

rock on dude in India. we'll gather the kids & go karaoke just like the good old days once you're back. and oh, jangan lupa gua peh prata telur dua, kosong satu. kuah campur. thanks.

Fastest Finger First Ain't Really A Good Thing
in a moment of haste, all the messages i've kept as keepsake in my phone were accidentally deleted. there goes the very first message i received way back in january 03 and those private ones. 3 years of storage and a second of disappearance. it's like i've lost a part of me. now i operate the phone in slow motion.
and so, below are 12 bands. no prizes for guessing what all of them have in common. apart from the fact the tunes are oh-so-delectable, have a try.

Rank/Name: Recruit Muzammil
ORD Date: Sep TWO THOUSAND & EIGHT. 2008.
(saper mau layan ord lambat lambat)

yes boys & girls, every sergeants' nightmare is back. with a spanking hairdo that doesn't require any combs or hair gel. plus a sore throat as well. 2 weeks in the army has yet to subdue him to be one "garang" fellow. and so, Ramly burgers do boost a recruits' low morale thinking about tekong. that explains the cheesy smile.

the army also teaches you to adapt to any surroundings. so lying down on marble seats beside raffles city shopping centre ain't a problem.

The Quarter Pounder Not Available At Burger King

that's rithaudin. the kid who'll be embarking to Brunei for 8 months and his journey starts this saturday. never in my life has a friend been this far away & we'll be missing him & of course, his trademark quarter pounder burger. such a gem of a friend whom you can depend on and i'm sure those who are acquainted with him will agree. have fun in Brunei beb. we'll be definitely waiting for your homecoming.

in K to the L

seoul garden massacre with the future Brunei PR.
and here's 2 clips which are a gem too. different renditions of an ultra classic song. choose between the chillout or the noise. either way i'm sure you'll be pleased.
Nouvelle Vague-> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4efME9Vnlc

The Non Existent Word Called Krunk

our space

the overall booth shared with our acquaintance. seen here with potential pretty customers.

someone please tell him the "rabbit ears" sign is so 1996.

yeah, we sell food too. cheap cheap.

the neighbouring gazebo.
The Enlistee

the youngest dude in the clique finally ended his civilian life as of 9am this morning. no it's not London calling, it's Tekong calling. the bugger who said he'd killed himself if he didn't end up with the girl he admired so much during poly. he's a barrel of laughs and he somehow can get mixed up between Mona J & Mona Fandey. a great friend to pummel and prank. well, somehow wondering how he'll look like come the 22nd.

songhe rice umbrella model & the flying kicks.

something out of time

Cease Sanity

the 3rd album from this french new wave band is a must have. their cover of The Smith's "Sweet & Tender Hooligan" is superb. indeed doing justice to such a nice song. splendid artwork, collaboration of sweet soulful female voices, $18.95...what more can you ask for.

i've never thought this would happen. why so soon. once a month on a saturday night wouldn't be the same again. it was awesome while it lasted. the laughs, the sing-a-long sessions, the bodysurfs, the nite riders, the eye candies, the camaraderie. it's only here you realise people share the same happy emotions when that familiar song is played. read: Such Great Heights, First Of The Gang To Die, Dakota, Don't Save Us From The Flames, Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me etc. none of those techno music that goes "dus tak dus tak" can be found here. and it's also here you forge friendship with those who share the same musical mindset which leads to better band recommendations and of course, more laughters. enough emo for now, hope to see you at the next, final Poptart.
