the aforementioned subject header has got to be camera obscura's best track in their latest album. i'm gushing over tracyanne campbell's lush & beautiful lyrics. and her voice, oh my god. the video looks like somewhat recorded in an esplanade-like venue. how cool it would be if the band dropped by next year's Mosaic Festival. just like how Kings Of Convenience gave a surprise visit to this small country of ours. so get your copy from FruitRecords yea.

Puppets & The Strings Attached
apologies and explanations coming from someone who denies your sincerity can be confusing. let alone emotions pouring in reminiscing about the times. with a heavy heart, acceptance seems like the right thing to do. thinking that if the prophet could forgive his subjects, who are you to even deny their apology. but for instance the intention of gaining back what's lost is purely because of boredom & just to pass the time, what's the use. ultimately the situation isn't going anywhere and the whole ordeal turns superficial in the very least. wasting each other's time chasing cars. at the end of the day, nothing's going to be the same as back then. falling for sweet nothings is just plain stupid. they're all lies beneath the smiles. so save up those three words and say it to the person whom only you know deep down can very well be the significant other whose willing to apply a HDB flat together and grow old eating mcdonalds big breakfast every sunday morning. the keyword is SAVE. save those three words. for those words are said too much these days, it's nothing special. and no, i'm not attached. so spare the questions regarding this entry. thank you.

Mini Raya Reunion
been a hectic past 2 weeks involving going in & out of the jungles of yishun & chua chu kang. but the weekend was squeezed with a little gathering of the acquaintances. laughters of sort and mutual forgiveness were exchanged and yeah, raya isn't that bad after all this year.
