drop by NAFA's degree show when you have the time up till this sunday alright. a feast for the eyes with all the creative & original visual works by the degree students & there's free stickers to go around. the exhibition will definitely get you thinking about what the students are trying to imply with their works. share your views with the exhibitors & i'm sure you'll have a constructive chat at the end of it. with works touching on local political propaganda & another concerning the contented malay society, i'm sure you'll find the exhibition interesting. i know i did. and do say hi to my ma'am while you're there alright. =)

The One With The 3 Separate Entries
the youngest vintage junkee turned 21 last saturday & a gastronomic treat was in place. but weirdly it was the birthday boy who treated us with the 30+ sticks of satay. and how could we leave the boy with the trademark cheeky "peace sign" pose go home empty handed right. so we got him Yo La Tengo's double cd album thinking he would fit in nicely for the gig yesterday. turns out, he couldn't make it to the gig due to NS commitments. so much for being tactical. and his favourite word of the moment is "dangerous". something he picked up in army driving school.
food fit only for future Spartan leaders. but must sign up for california fitness after the meal.
he's single. *note trademark peace sign & grin*
please be informed we only do kawaii poses during special occasions.
First Wedding Of The Cliques
a former secondary school classmate got married last sunday. and what a reality check it was. we sure are growing up. so happy to see the married couple smiling away & looking at each other lovingly. simple void deck wedding with freeflow of goreng pisang which i likeeeeee.
the achi's who witnessed my evolution when i was 13 till now. a former TAF club member to an oversized bespectacle dude of today. and i've known them for 10 years.
RAMLI SARIP beb!!! singing Camelia and i was blown away. what are the chances of seeing him crooning under the void deck you tell me.
Evening Splendour
had dinner with the ma'am at fish & co. just a case of sampling the food since the place has been recommended many times from friends. indeed the seafood platter was splendid. a seafood fan would definitely welcome this dish. squids, prawns, fish, clams, chips & butter rice all served in one huge pan. remember to share the meal. eating it alone might just shoot up your BMI in a second.
seafood platter in all it's glory
the ma'am & i would laugh everytime we pass this medicated oil brand advert at outram park's NEL linkway. there's just something about the ah pek's thumbs up pose & his "confident" smile. & after countless pleas from the ma'am for me to pose beside the ah pek, i finally did. in the expense of my sanity.

before: i used to tell my friends how "kental" they were when they suddenly turn to silent mode back in camp due to missing their significant others. and get teased all out by yours truly when they carelessly forget to clear the mushy text messages sent on their handphone when it's left facing up on the table and for all to see.
now: i don't bother when i'm the one being teased now. lesson learnt and best defined by the old folk saying, "ah tulah lain kali jangan cakap orang..."

she started out not knowing what in the world is thumb wrestling. now i'm the one dreading teaching her this game in the first place. she wins everytime now. everytime. suppose she learns from the best.
