A Tale Of Two
remember the kid who asked me what "concept" i was be it emo or rnb? turns out he listens to death cab, bloc party, arctic monkeys just to name a few. we're talking now after his disbelief i wore a death cab tee to work and he said "eh your hair emo how come listen to death cab?" ok i get the drift. but if a particular person whose going to be of great importance for the future says "rambut style" to me, i'd rather listen to that earnestly. in which the person who said the former line is actually the mother of my ma'am. instant goosebumps and a foolish reply ensued. instead of a "oh terima kasih cik" for the compliment, i said "oh cuaca panas cik". this is the part where you say "aiyohhhhhh".

Caves & Ghetto Stingrays
fun & exhilirating trip to KL last week with the boys and the ma'am but marred by corrupt bus ticket peddlers who demanded sky rocket prices. RM55 bus ride to KL? c'mon, that price could get you as far to terengganu. but the KLCC skybridge tour, the 5 hour time span in Redbox karaoke (where to get to karaoke Morrissey's songs while gorging on buffet food you tell me?), the best sambal stingray in the whole of KL, Batu Caves visit and JB Citysquare stopover made the jam packed trip all worthwhile. we ended our KL trip with a family meal in our apartment. nasi putih + ikan bakar + sambal maut + satay roadside + sparkling juice = Soulja Boys & Soulja Girl.
the aforementioned ikan bakar. greasy = slurps.
he runs a series of clinics over in KL. he keeps a low profile back in singapore.

Chill Pill
being in the workforce, finally you feel the stress and fatigue of everyday mundane work facing you each day and you long for a getaway of any sort. thus, 7 of us will be embarking to KL tonight and this time, with the spirit of Indiana Jones around the corner, we've decided to climb the 272 steps of Batu Caves on sunday. plus 6 hours of karaoke + buffet package and visiting the indie shop off bukit bintang equates to fun. and the best way to wind down is no less staying over the suite linked below.

it's a gem of a find rate & location wise and i won't be surprised if the boys jump up and down in excitement on the bed upon entering the suite. while me & the ma'am will be the abang & kakak for the trip. hahaha.
