Razzle Dazzle Night
Camera Obscura are such a sweet down-to-earth band. Small talk with them along the autograph session line involved musings on how they find Singapore such a lovely country and the woman on the Let's Get Out Of This Country cover isn't Tracyanne Campbell. Lee the drummer mentioned to me how suprised he was to see the huge turnout last nite and the band would never have imagined travelling so far to play in this region. I'm like "Are you kidding me? We've been waiting for you guys to come here for ages!" That got me wondering maybe foreign bands think that since Singapore is such a small country, thus the fanbase here is paltry. But look at Death Cab. Their gig tix sold out in 3 days! Imagine what if Radiohead came down here. Give it 1 day and all the tix will be snapped up i'm sure. Anyways Camera Obscura played 2 (or was it 3?) new songs of theirs and it's oh so lovely. Can't wait for their new album. How i wish the ma'am was here though. She was the one who purchased all the tix for yesterday and ended up having to work in China. But nevermind i took a whole video of the band playing Let's Get Out Of This Country last night for i know it's her favourite tune. Along with 10 other whole videos for her. Yes, 10.

At the usual after-gig photo spot. Should start counting how many times we've took pictures there.

3 bespectaled guys and the abang handsome pakai contact lens.

Muz trying to propose to Tracyanne. Or an attempt to mesmerize her to look into his eyes.

Honey, Japanese, Weddings
The ma'am turned a lovely sweet 16 about nine days ago. What she thought was just another couple date to the Singapore Flyer was duely surprised with the presence of the secret recipe chocolate banana cake gang. Muz's rendition of the classic happy birthday song with a hari raya twist was an idea of a genius. Candles blown, cakes eaten, unstoppable farts, ravaging popeyes and the splendid night ended. Pictures of the night are linked below for your viewing.

The ever so lovely japanese cousins stopped by last week. The first thing they requested to eat upon touchdown was durian and nasi ayam so being the host, my parents along with the ma'am and me treated them to Ayam Bakar Ojolali and the streetside durian stall off Sims Ave. You can't take away the malay blood from the japanese yo. The next day i brought them shopping at Marina Square before heading to their maiden flight to the Singapore Flyer. It's an added advantage being with my ma'am all this while who enlightened me to where usually girls go to to shop around. So it was a breeze bringing them to Charles & Keith, Dorothy Perkins, Diva, Mango, Topshop, Novo and so much much more. I suppose girls can never have too many bags and shoes so i succumb that theory is 100% true in respect to what my cousins bought throughtout their time at Marina Square. Pictures of my lovely cousins linked below.

Lastly, i don't know how being 24 equates to a wedding ceremony at one of those leisure entertainment pods at cineleisure level 9. I'm still dumbfounded how in the world my ma'am could squeeze her tight schedule to plan this and conspire with the rest despite being with me almost everyday after work. Sneaky sneaky. Kudos to the boys and sirwallyballjacker for the hilarious theme. It's defines the word lepak at it's best.
