The Scientist

An easily sold out gig in a matter of days. So nice of them to come down to our shores 3 times in within 5 years. The only reason i can't wait for this gig is to hope they play Yellow while holding her hand. Yeah, pretty don juan demarco alright. Pretty much a fan of their older songs but i wouldn't mind hearing Lost. Other than that, with the company of 7 other friends, it'll sure rock and the last 2 minutes of Fix You will definitely turn the whole indoor stadium into a gospel choir i'm sure. Can't wait.

2 weeks after Coldplay, we'll be rioting with the chiefs.

Age & All It's Glory
Perhaps growing older by the years changes your perspective in life. Carefree days were the order of the day back then and rebellion seems like the ultimate retaliation of sorts. Now, slowly the thought of settling down somehow creeps into your head and wondering how in the world are you going to pull this huge lifetime commitment off and leaving behind the notion of everything in this world revolves around you you and you. Coming to a quarter of a century in life now, it's scary to think in 5 years time, i'm going to hit the big 3-0. That's like more or less a World Cup away. And checking up on the savings & CPF accounts doesn't help brighten the mood either. Spending habits and other materialistic cravings has got to take a back seat. I might have laughed at a former classmate of mine who said she sacrificed shopping just to save money to get married this June. And mind you she started saving up during her poly days. But i suppose she's having the last laugh now as money can't buy you everlasting happiness. Sure you can save money to buy a new shoe for example, but then you're happy just at that moment in time and eventually that shoe will be collecting dust and that will be just that, a shoe. If spending a lifetime with the person you love and going through all the ups and downs together, then i'm all up for it. Who wants to end up sad and alone in their life anyways right?

Overdue
Like the header says, overdue pictures of last month's events. Enjoy.

Setting for the day on top of a multi-storey carpark. Apologies to the nearby residents for our ruckus that night but no thanks to the person who called the cops to check up on us.

The safari themed birthday filled with too cute to be true animal plush toys.

The girls doing rewang duties. A dying trend these days.

Awesome chocolate brownie done by mr street directory's ma'am. A potential hari raya tempahan.

Andy Lau taking time off signing autographs to his fans and flashing the peace sign. To remind us to make love not war.

While waiting for the kidnap driver to arrive, we 3 took a shot on being the Jonas brothers.

My lovely partner in crime.

Birthday kid finally arrives and quickly makes a few bucks giving practical bike lessons.

Customary group photo.

Spice Girls and their manager.

Take That.

Win Lose Or Draw brings out the beast in us. We can't stand to lose.

Never far from the paparazzi, Andy Lau again gives a thumbs up to his fans to let them know that his upcoming album is damn good.

After everything's settled and close to midnight, the birthday kid can't really smile.

But then again when he's surrounded by girls, his cheeky smile is seen.

Next was the Malacca trip although this pic was taken at Negeri Sembilan. Yeah, the whole entourage drove all the way up to this makan place.

Sunset.

The ma'am waiting for the sunset. Insert a Sigur Ros tune for the background and everything's perfect.

Fishes waiting to be turned into ikan bakar sambal chilli.

The drinks at Nakhoda Seafood over in Malacca are huge. But the service there sucks big time. No kidding.

And lastly, Mogwai. Batcat forever.
Till next time.
